Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School
The early years of a child’s education are among the most influential, not just for building a structure for academic excellence, but for developing character, values and beliefs. This includes understanding and celebrating what it means to be a Child of God. No textbook can do this, but parents, partnered with a child’s teachers and a positive, welcoming culture, can.
St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School has been perfecting this philosophy for more than 65 years. Our preschool through 8th grade Catholic school is led by our outstanding pastor, Fr. Gordon Reigle, and staffed by a truly exceptional Christian faculty. Together, we mix the best of old-school traditions and values with progressive teaching methods and learning tools so our students receive the finest education possible.
It is not just what we instill in the classrooms that matters. Every encounter at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School becomes an opportunity for growth – including those in the lunchroom, church, playground and the gym. From iPads and technology located throughout the school, to devotions for loved ones during Morning Prayer and singing joyfully at our weekly Masses – we are dedicated to ensuring that our students thrive spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically and culturally.
Our students stand tall with numerous awards and honors. When our students graduate and move on to high school, our students are prepared to become compassionate, contributing citizens of our Catholic community, the greater Lansing area, as well as the World. Scores of alumni are now top doctors, attorneys, authors, scholars and more. We have an equally long list of graduates who have dedicated their lives to God as missionaries, deacons, sisters and priests. We couldn’t be more proud of our St. Thomas alumni and family.
We could go on and on, but know that the best way to learn about our school is to experience our offerings first-hand. Spend an hour, a day or a week with us. Set a time to tour our school, talk to our staff and meet some school parents and alumni. We think you’ll love what you discover.
Prayerfully,
Erin Nobach, Principal
